National laboratories are laboratories under contract with the ANM for the conservation and maintenance of national standards.
The metrology laboratory "DEFNAT" under the Ministry of National Defense has been designated for the conservation and maintenance of national standards for size "electricity and magnetism" and "time-frequency" (Decree of 15 March 2011).
The chemical metrology laboratory within the National Institute of Research and physico-chemical analyzes "INRAP" which is under supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education, is designated as a laboratory for the conservation of national standards measure in the field of chemical metrology (preparation and analysis of gas mixtures, organic analysis, inorganic analysis and electrochemical analysis) (Decree of 12 May 2012).
